Laughter Yoga is all about laughing. It combines laughter with yogic breathing to increase the supply of oxygen to your brain and body. Combining the two lifts your mood and makes you feel more energised. We do not do yoga stretches.
Everyone wants health and happiness in their lives. Instead, many people are stressed out, getting depressed, sleeping badly and struggling to enjoy life. Does this sound like you? Are you someone who wants to move on and bring more laughter and joy into your life? Then, join us in our Zoom sessions, book a bespoke Laughter Yoga workshop, or recommend it to a friend if you know somebody who could benefit.
Do you have a business and want to offer your staff well-being sessions, opportunities for teams to build on their existing rapport, improve their creativity/productivity?
Laughter Yoga is a simple exercise routine that is sweeping the world and is a complete well-being workout. Developed in India in 1995 by a medical doctor, Dr Madan Kataria, it has now spread across over 100 countries. It is a unique concept where anyone can laugh for no reason (no jokes or comedy required).
The concept of Laughter Yoga is based on a scientific fact that the body cannot differentiate between fake and real laughter. One gets the same physiological and psychological benefits. It is called Laughter Yoga because it combines laughter exercises with yogic breathing techniques. See our page ‘How can Laughter Yoga help you?’ for more details.
We are based in Cambridge, but our Zoom sessions can be joined from anywhere in the world. See our What, Where, When page for details. Every session is different with different exercises and group sizes ranging from 2 to 20, all ages welcome.
Laughter Yoga is non-religious and non-political. We get together to laugh and improve our well-being as a result.
